Rototilling for Community Garden

Grow Regina recommends contacting the ‘Plowing for People’ to arrange your rototilling services; however, if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own hand-tiller or rental. IMPORTANT: Tractor tillers are NOT allowed in the community garden. In fact, no vehicles are allowed to drive in to the community garden without permission. Any damages resulting will be charged to the gardener.

In 2010 a local group ‘Plowing for People’ came forward to provide rototilling services to Grow Regina members at YARA-GRCG. The funds will be used to support humanitarian needs locally and globally.

2015 rates starting at

yard-machines-rear-tine-tiller-12

$20 per 10′x10′ garden plot

$25 per 10′x20′ garden plot

$35 per 20′x20′ garden plot

$45 per 20′x30′ garden plot

Contact Shirley at 306-781-2888 or email sneuls@accesscomm.ca to schedule your rototilling request.

Weather permitting, rototilling will begin the first week of May.

Please make your cheque payable to: Plowing for People

Mailing address is:

Plowing for People | 73 Crystal Drive | Coppersands | SK | S4L 1B3

Warning! If damage occurs from your decision to bring in your own rototiller or hire someone else, then you – the gardener – will be responsible for the cost of damages. FYI, Rototiller tractors are prohibited in the community garden. Also, vehicles are not permitted in the community garden without approval.
